Aug 3rd 2012, 12:48

The 2012 Olympics started off very well for the U.S. men's boxing team ... but has taken a significant turn for the worse. The nine member men's team began with four consecutive victories as Terrell Gausha, Joseph Diaz Jr., Errol Spence and Jose Ramirez all advanced out of the round of 32.

Since then, however, the U.S men have lost seven straight bouts. The losing streak leaves only Spence at welterweight and flyweight Rau'Shee Warren, who has yet to have his first bout, still in contention for a medal. Both Spence and Warren are in action later today.
